Superb driver on the team, Martin was reliable, hardworking, honest trustworthy and always going the distance when... needed to get materials on site for the builders to get the job done!.Other team members such as carpenters Jamie, Aaron and good all round builder Michael showed themselves to be great at all times on site doing what they do best!read more

We couldn't be happier with the work carried out by Brown Construction! We had a single storey rear extension planned... and had various quotes from different companies, but after a lot of meetings, we decided to go with Browns as their quality of work was exactly what we were after. This was our first time undergoing a project like this so we found it quite daunting at first. After having an initial meeting with Adam (owner), we were then introduced to our project manager James who took us through all the work that needed to be carried out along with schedules and costs. This made us feel more reassured by their whole approach and process to the project. Big thanks to the team, Raoul, Simon, Jamie, Martin, Florin, Petru and of course the other contractors that were called in (all whom have worked with Browns for years now). They all did an amazing job. They took great care and pride in their work (tidying and cleaning up after every day) and it shows. Attention to detail is second to none. Everyone was really friendly and nice to have around for the duration of 4 months. Also a big thanks to Hayley and Kayleigh in the office who kept us informed of everything as the project went along. Always responding to our emails/messages :) We can honestly say that we did not expect everything to run so smoothly! We’ve had friends tell us horror stories about delays, bad timings etc James did an amazing job organising the whole project and keeping everything on track for us. Everything was literally bang on time and on budget as per quote and schedule! Anything that came up that wasn't initially quoted would be briefed to us before further work was carried out. Maybe we were one of the lucky ones, but judging from the way Brown Construction conduct themselves and the great team they have, we're pretty sure their other clients are just as happy. We cannot speak more highly of Brown Construction and have already passed on their details to friends who are now planning on getting work done by Browns after seeing our extension. The space has really changed our family home and we feel extremely lucky to have had Brown Construction achieve this for us! I cannot recommend Brown Construction highly enough. They have just completed our ground floor extension, patio and... k-render and the quality of work has been exceptional. They spend a lot of time scoping out the project such that they were able to provide a line by line fee estimate which they then stuck to rigidly - this meant we knew exactly what it was going to cost us and had no surprises. They project manage everything to ensure everything runs smoothly both in terms of the actual work on site but also the overall administration of the project. This takes all of the stress out of things. Adam, who runs the business, is a perfectionist and this is reflected in his choice of contractors. We would highly recommend.read more

The team did a house refurb and a loft extension for us. Overall end to end service has been great with a fab back... office team. Despite a few issues along the way, the team dealt with each one in turn and we're really happy with how the house now looks but externally and internally. Adam the owner, does take a personal interest in all the projects and it was great to have been able to provide him with our feedback directly. Definitely would recommend using Brown Construction.read more

Browns construction demolished and rebuilt our extension in 2020. From our first meeting with Adam, throughout the... build and during project close out they have been great to work with. The original scope came in to cost and any agreed extras that arose during the build were managed and included without any problems. There were no major issues during the build, no problem was insurmountable. The various tradesmen that worked on our project were skilled and professional and due to having to stay home for the pandemic, we got to know our builders very well when they were eventually allowed to return to work. James the PM made sure everything went according to plan and was always available on the phone or on his regular site visits. Michaela and the rest of the office staff were also incredibly helpful and responsive to questions. Our project is complete now and looks absolutely fantastic, we couldn’t be happier. Browns construction are a very capable and professional company and obviously have a great team of people working there. We would recommend them highly to anyone undertaking similar projects.read more

Became aware of Brown Construction when they were on a job 3 doors up from us and was impressed by the way they try... and manage the site ,usually tiding up at the end of each working day and minimising inconvienence to the neighbours. Even entertianing the hundreds of " What you doing Mr Man?" from our then 2yr old ,digger mad grandson!. I enqiured with the home owner who praised them so after 4 other quotes came in ,,,we chose BC. They rely on a lot on Trusted trades to supply the relevent service ( and are under no illusion that under par results mean no further work!) I cannot fault the professionalism and politeness of the guys used. The First guys here were BC employed chaps led by Mike and assisted by two other youngsters George & Rob, I mention them because starting in November it was cold and wet and , at times, |Very muddy !! but maintained a cheery disposition ( and more questions from our now 3yr Grandson!) The Site Manager , along with Mike were very helpful with a few little changes that arose mid build, being odd measurements or things not lining up , the need of a roof light that i ommitted from the plans!! Even the finishing appearance 'didnt look right!? so helped me with their experience.. The communication from the office was good . Financial planning was handled weekly with no issues. We had a rear extension planned as well as the side workshop and downstairs bathroom but with the recent Covid pandemic we just went for the side work but have No reservation of using BC again .. We appointed Brown Construction to do a huge refurbishment job on our new house in Greenwich.It was a wreck and... absolutely everything needed doing, including a large kitchen extension, internal reconfigurations, total rewriting, re-plumbing, re-plastering, new roof, floors, ceilings, windows and doors, right down to the last door knob. Throughout the project, Adam and his team were diligent, considerate, punctual and professional. Their attention to detail was amazing, and the quality of their work has surpassed even our high expectations. They kept to the budget and time scale agreed at the start of the project and have been extremely obliging about coming back to deal with snags or glitches. I have positively loved working with Adam and his team - which isn’t something one often hears about builders working in residential homes - and I cannot recommend them highly enough.read more

We recently used Brown Construction to renovate our home, including remodelling the lower floor and installing a loft... conversion. It was a huge financial investment and would involve us having to live onsite during works. Our neighbours had used Brown's for their remodel and we'd been impressed with the high quality finish. We had quotes from several builders but selected Brown's because of their transparent and detailed quote, and in our initial meetings Adam Brown was genuine, honest and very considerate of our requirements. The build was done in two stages, and we lived onsite in whichever section of the house was not being built. The builders and contractors were always friendly and considerate, and very skilled at their work. The team at Brown's are very easy to work with, from the office to the project manager. Their advice and knowledge is well-considered and they were always willing to work with our ideas. The build was started and completed during 2020. It was delivered on time and on budget to a high quality finish, despite lockdowns and supply delays, which shows what an impressive building company they are. We have no hesitation in recommending them.read more

From the moment I chose Brown Construction I was confident my build project was in safe hands. Which was so very... important given that I was investing most of my savings in a big conversion & transformative project to make my home more family friendly. Adam is a perfectionist but also a decent, honest & likeable guy. Always available & solutions oriented. He is supported by a superb team in both Michaela who keeps the office running smoothly - she always replies to queries super fast, doesnt give up & chases people on your behalf when required. Martin is dedicated & diligent. When my interior designers were impractical in suggestions, Martin would flag and suggest alternative fixes. I love my home. And my daughter and I couldn’t be happier. From the moment we engaged with Browns to date (we are a couple of weeks away from finalising our 5 month extension... project which started at the beginning of June 2020) we have been extremely impressed by Adam and his team. Starting from a competitive quote and efficient communication with us as customers, followed by the attention to detail and fantastic project management from James (all tradesmen have been here perfectly on time, meeting the original work schedule). They have been accommodating throughout the project, adapting to last minute changes and cooperating at all times. Worth mentioning that Browns is a well established building company. Michaela and Hayley support Adam with customer enquiries and accounting and they are extremely efficient. All the builders/tradesmen we have had to this point have been very pleasant, professional and very clean (which has been much appreciated considering we have been living in the house during the project). Brown recently completed our basement renovation and extension and I can't praise them highly enough! We've never done... anything like this before and so many friends shared their 'horror stories' of doing big renovations, leaving us understandably nervous. But Brown looked after us all the way. They are incredibly professional, organised and responsive. They listened to us and made every effort to make sure everything was just right. They had great ideas and as we managed the project ourselves, they worked closely with us to make sure everything was how we wanted it. Browns undertook some extensive home expansion work or us in 2015. They work very collaboratively, good quality work,... and all delays (which are lets face it inevitable), were largely due to external factors. However, the most impressive thing is that they actually care about their clients, old and new. In the recent storms we developed a leak in our extension and they were round like a flash, no quibbles, dealt with it, and did not charge. This is 3 years since the job completed. In a world where buyers are wary of trusting building contractors, in my experience Browns have always been transparent and trust worthy... no one is perfect of course but Browns do what they say they will... and for me that sets them apart.read more
